Mimi Gonzalez is a comedian whose mother once told her, "You're so beautiful, but then you open your mouth and spoil it all."  Her mother was right.  Mimi has performed comedy since 1987 (turning pro in 1992!)

Her multi-ethnic humor illustrates her unique position of being an American as both an insider and an outsider.  Her Latin-hybrid roots, funky feminism and no-genders barred approach to sexuality have narrowed her career options to straight-jacket model or stand-up comic.  Her most subversive and political stance is that there is such a thing as a funny feminist - and she's it!  Fair warning - her personality is as big as her hair!
